I am trying to create a stereo mix separate from my main L/R output to feed OBS on my live streaming PC (via Blackmagic WebPresenter) for my church. I have a Behringer X32 mixer.
On the mixer, I do all of the gain, pan, EQ, dynamics, etc., for the house mix on the main L/R output. I linked bus 13 & 14 to make a stereo pair. I route the 2 channels to an aux out pair with RCA jacks and then feed to the WebPresenter. Then I adjust the stereo mix using the X32 "sends-on-fader" function after selecting 13 or 14. If I solo 13 or 14 then I can hear the mix in my headphones and mix appropriately for the live stream mix.
No matter what I do, it seems that the mix is not stereo. If I pan an input all the way to the left, it seems to remain centered in my headphones when I monitor it on the mixer.
So my problem could be in the mixer, the WebPresenter, or OBS. I’m not sure.
Does anyone have any experience or suggestions in this area?
