Question / Help Stereo and Mono

When i have audio on stereo, i can only hear the audio on one side, but with mono i can hear the sound coming from both sides.
So if i post my video on youtube, will they only hear the audio on one side?
The reason i am asking this is because according to guides stereo is the one that provides sound on both sides of the headphones/speakers.

Depends on your sources. If your source is mono, it can end up panned to one side or the other if OBS is set to Stereo. Which means it also depends on where it's panned.

If you hear one side - your listeners hear one side too.

If you have input (mic for example) which produce sound on the left channel (L) only, and right channel (R) is muted, then you can setup checkbox Downmix to Mono in the main menu Edit>Advanced Audio Properties. Then sound signal should be averaged to both channels (L and R). You'll get planar Stereo at output.
