I'm confused about this one. Just recorded some Devil May Cry 5 and there's this static type noises. From what I read up it has something to do with the mircrophone. So I guess I need to fiddle with some sound settings.
What I don't understand is how I recorded Dragon's Dogma years ago and the sound is fine. Pretty sure I didn't fiddle too much with the OBS default settings.
In any event how do I resolve the "static noise" issue? I need my recorded videos to sound clear since I'm getting into youtubing. And no, I can't afford a better microphone. This one has been proven to sound clear without the static noise anyway. Maybe older OBS had better default settings for that. It's all I can think of.
Here's my current sound settings.

I also need to fiddle with video settings but I'll worry about that later.
