I've had a number of videos ruined by audio static, and I can't seem to find a cause. I have made 36 videos since downloading OBS, and I had this issue in two videos of the first 30. The static only lasted for a few minutes before disappearing completely and not returning for the videos recorded that same day with identical setup. I made 6 more videos today, and at least 3 of them have significant static problems. It appears to occur randomly, and there is no way for me to know when it is happening. I don't have a lot of experience with OBS, so I don't know exactly what you need to know about my setup. I'm using a Blue Snowball microphone and have Noise Suppression set to -60 db. My desktop audio is turned all the way down to -inf. These settings have allowed me to eliminate all background noise while still capturing my voice, but if that's the reason I have static, I can change that easily enough. I've uploaded one of my log files with the issue. The static gets very bad around 13:20. Unfortunately, I can't upload the video file as it is much larger than 1 mb. If it will be helpful, I can make the youtube video public so you can hear the static; however I currently have it set to private so my followers don't get alerted to my video with very annoying audio.
