Hello,
I've been at this for awhile now and I have yet to find a successful solution. I've been using OBS Studio for around 4 or 5 months now, give or take a few, and I've never had this issue before. Whenever I try to record nowadays, I keep getting this error that pops up and reads "Starting the output failed. Please check the log for details." Below that, it reads "Note: If you are using the NVENC or AMD encoders, make sure your video drivers are up to date." I've ensured several times that my drivers are up to date but that doesn't seem to help resolve the issue. I've been told that I could just change my encoder setting from Hardware (NVENC) to Software (x264) but that the alternative would strain my CPU and make me lag, which is something I don't want. Like I said, I've never had this issue before. I haven't changed any settings since I set OBS up awhile back. I've looked at some other forum posts but I don't see any solutions. I'm completely lost here and would love it if someone could help me out. I've also been seeing some people say to reinstall OBS but I'd really rather not have to take that route, as I don't want to have to reconfigure OBS to my liking again. I've included the log entry for further inspection if anyone would care to have a look at it.
Thank you! :)
