I just bought the Startech USB 3 Capture Device (USB3HDCAP) to record games from the multiple different consoles that I have. I have not been able to get it working at all. I have tried getting it to work with both OBS and Startech's Stream Catcher program, and I don't get picture using either.
For this use, I am simply using it via HDMI with my PS3. I have it connect PS3 HDMI out to the USB3HD HDMI input, then connected to my PC via USB 3. I get no sound. And the only image I get is a green screen. The card is being detected as a device within OBS, and I am able to get into the device settings window through OBS, but no picture or sound go through.
All drivers are new, and programs were just installed.
