Question / Help "Start recording" does nothing when pressed "SOLVED"

Hello,
I've recently tried to record with OBS studio but when i press the "start recording" button nothing happens.
The button is not grayed out, it looks like it should be working but does nothing when pressed. If anyone has any ideas to why it does this please feel free to share them with me!

Maybe you can find another log? Where you are clicking the recording button, for example.

i've spammed it here. i See that there is "Failed to open NVENC codec: Invalid argument" error..so maybe thats the problem? I have a GTX 780 so it should work?

Does it work if you use the recording quality presets in Simple Output mode? That's a generic error from the driver saying that something went wrong. You might try a clean driver install to see if that helps - https://obsproject.com/forum/resources/performing-a-clean-gpu-driver-installation.65/

It works in simple yes. So i should do a driver reinstall?

If it works in simple mode then I'd guess that one of the options you're selecting in Advanced Output mode isn't valid for your card. Try disabling two-pass.

disabling two-pass does nothing sadly..
