Stable Cable internet. But very unstable bitrate

so i have been streaming for a while now, and havehad no issues for the longest time. but from one day to the other my bitrate started to drop to 600 kb/s randomly in between the actual 4000 to 6000 it would do. weirdest thing of all is that my laptop (which is connected to the exact same internet) does a stable 7000 kb/s and streams fine. i have also tried this on the same laptop with wifi, even with the wifi it never dropped under 6950 kb/s. i have tried an NDI but for games i play that is just unstable (apex legends). i have bought a usb wifi dongle but this also didnt seem to fix my bad bitrate issue. anyone have the same issue or a way to fix this? i have a feeling it has something to do with my motherboard but i wanna know for sure before i spend money on it.

Did you happen to download the newest update? I too have been getting crazy bitrate, haven't had issues like this ever, and after I updated I've been having thousands of dropped frames.

The timing of the update doesn't mean the update caused the issue.

Connection issues to your streaming service can and will happen independent of the timing of updates AND have frequently time-matched to updates so that users continue to wrongfully blame the update for their issue.

I've literally never had any issues. The day after I downloaded the newest update, MASSIVE frame drops. Nothing other internet wise is affected.

That doesn't invalidate the situation.

If the update actually caused these issues then there would be a SIGNIFICANTLY larger number of reports of issues.

I have found a fix to my issue and it wasnt obs. My upload speed would normally hang around 12 to 15 mbs and now after my fix it is 30 mb/'s. I fixed it by going to the ethernet port setting, properties and then configurate, after that click advanced and something called Large Send Offload (v2) should be there. The guy on the microsoft forums said to turn the one off without the v2 but i only had the v2. And since i turned the Large Send Offload V2 ipv4 off my upload speed has been stable and so has my bitrate.
