Hey all, I got the monitor device to capture video no problem in OBS just can't get the audio to capture from pro tools.
My setup is an SSL 2+ audio interface (updated with the loopback firmware of V1.10) and OBS studio (updated to the latest version 31.0.1).
I have the "audio input capture" named to "loopback" and the "Loopback L/R (SSL 2+ USB Audio Device)" selected under device. Then in the audio device i double check that to make sure that within "Properties" that (Loopback L/R (SSL 2+ USB Audio Device) is selected and it is. But i am not getting any sound from pro tools when i play music, although i hear it out of my main speakers/monitors just not in OBS (the meters are not moving like they do if i select desktop audio and play something from the internet, that works fine). I think it might be pro tools related? not sure if i need to change anything in the I/O of pro tools. I can't seem to find any information on that or video about it on youtube. I can find ones for other DAW's and they are changing something in their outputs. Otherwise i have tried every combo in OBS and nothing works. I even uninstalled everything and re-installed and it does the same thing.
I included a screen shot of what my setup is for OBS, you can see i have the device setting correct.
