SRT failing to restart stream display after a disconnection.

I have tried this many different ways with several different computers. I cannot get an SRT source to reliably restart when the source goes offline and becomes active again. Usually it will autostart start if the source is sending for the first time. But should the source go offline and online again, OBS remains black.

I do think OBS is actively receiving the stream... but the screen remains black until I open the source and close it again. I don't think it is an issue with SRT itself, just OBS not re-displaying the stream reliably after a reconnection. Have testing using vMix and ffmpeg as SRT callers.

I am experiencing the same problem on Mac and I posted on Mac Support thread. I think the same issue affects both Windows and Mac.
It would be nice if you can reproduce it on Windows because I do not have any PC
