Splitting audio tracks causes grainy video

Hi,

I've been recording some gameplay with microphone, and after a while decided that I want the game audio and microphone on different tracks. When I changed the settings to do that, the file didn't record my microphone (on track 2), so I changed the file type. Now, no matter which file type I choose, even if returning to the default one, my video is quite grainy in a way it wasn't before. I assume it's just me not knowing which the correct file type is, but no matter where the issue lies, might I ask for some tips to improve it, please?

Here's the current log:

Thank you!
(on a completely different note, the option to pause and unpause a recording is gone and my hotkeys for that don't work anymore either - not too big a problem, but if anyone knows something...)

In Settings->Output->Recording, change the Encoder from "(use stream encoder)" to x264, then use CRF as rate control and a CRF value around 18-25. (higher values mean lower quality but also less filesize)

This will fix your quality issue as well as your issue with pausing the recording.
