Speed up recordings? (Like a Timelapse)

I'm new to OBS so sorry if this turns out to be something super basic.

What I'm trying to do is record a video game, then speed up said recording. Sounds super simple but I can't for the life of me figure out how to do it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

OBS itself cannot do a timelapse - this is a job for postprocessing.

Hi, I have a lot of videos that I need to take a recording of, but I don’t have a lot of time so is there a way that if I play the video on fast speed and OBS studio recorded then go back and watch it at regular speed?
