Hi Everyone,
First post here, and I have looked through recent posts to see if this has been addressed before (so that I don't bog up the forum with the same old questions) but can't find an answer to my question so please bare with me, or at the very least just direct me to the relevant post if I've missed it.
I have very successfully been using OBS (for over a year) with a single machine set up with a single NVIDIA1080 to stream games such as PUBG, PixArk, Overwatch, Fortnite etc in Full Screen mode in game, using a game capture source in OBS. An exception to this is Destiny 2 that required me to run the game in windowed/borderless-windowed mode to avoid a black screen in OBS, that as I understand, is a universal issue by design on the game developers side.
However, in the last few days since I've begun streaming Apex Legends, I have had to use borderless windowed mode for OBS to pickup my game capture, which isn't ideal for me because I find I get worse performance in the game itself. I assumed the issue was much the same as Destiny 2 that this was by design and to just suck it up, until during a conversation with one of my co-streamers, I was advised that he streams Apex Legends in full screen without the same issue.
I've fiddled and prodded and poked every setting that I can find that might have anything to do with my issue, thusly I find myself here asking for the help of my wise OBS overlords! Please Help!
