Question / Help Specific display is not capturing but the other two are

I have three displays (monitors) hooked up to my system. Two are through DVI, and the other one is HDMI. The HDMI one doesn't seem to capture at all, although it has worked on odd occasions, while the other two are working. I have no idea what is causing it.

Of course, I could just use one of the other monitors, but due to how they're positioned, I would greatly prefer to use the one that unfortunately doesn't work right now. So if I could get that one working, it would be ideal.

Log can be found below.

Thanks in advance for any sort of help.

Can you create a new Scene Collection (use the Scene Collection menu at the top of OBS, not just creating a new scene) and add only a display capture, and then show me the drop down list of available displays?

Note that a new Scene Collection will create a clean scene setup (which is what we want for testing), but none of your old configuration will be lost. You can change back to it at any time from the same Scene Collection menu.

Interestingly enough, the display is showing up when I do that.

When I went back to the old Scene Collection, the display was also working this time. Also, it's worth noting that the option is always available, just that sometimes, this specific display capture doesn't work at all while the other ones work fine.

I also don't think I rebooted my computer since I posted the issue. If this is a quick workaround for now, I'll use this, and I thank you for it. If you figure an issue out, then even better. But personally I have no clue.

It's hard to say. If you have more than one display capture source, they can step on each other's toes, but it looks like you had them configured to capture different monitors. If you have displays that get disconnected due to going to sleep or anything similar, that can also impact display capture.
