Source screenshot

OBS 30.1.2

Is there a way to 'focus' on the source you want to screenshot without manually highlighting the source?

I know what source in what scene I want to screenshot, at different times, but I can't use Sammi or a hotkey to focus on the scene/source I want.

Setting source visibility or doing anything to the source remotely, does not focus on the source.

Any advice would be welcome.

I can't offer a log

As soon as you already using "Advanced Scene Switcher" plugin you can make new macro. New Hotkey as trigger, Screenshot of the desirable source as action. Thus, new hotkey ("Macro trigger hotkey 1") will appear in the Settings > Hotkeys of OBS that can be used to make screenshot of any source of OBS even for not current scene (of course, if the source itself remains active).

Firstly, many thanks for taking the time to look at my query.
Secondly !!!!!
Brilliant solution - it works and fixes my problem.

I installed Advanced Scene Switcher as part of a tutorial. At the time I was happy with my understanding and use of it, but I've since left it on one side.

You are the best !

OMG, thanks fort that solution. I know there is a native command in streamer.bot for taking screenshots of sources but practically all my stuff is made with sammi (in which it isn't available) and at the moment have no time to redo everything in streamer.bot ( as i don't want both running simutaniously ).

THX a lot!!
