Question / Help Source/picture: I don't slide manualy in preview screen...

Hi!
I'm beginner in streaming world.
I have a HD camera, a BlackMagicDesign Intensity Shouttle, and a MacBook Air.
The stream very well.
I want to slide pictures in front of the video from time to time.
I created a new source for the images.
The problem: I can't switch images in the preview window. I can only switch to the next image if I have transferred the preview to the live image.
How can I resolve to send the preview preselected image to the live broadcast?
