Source keeps unselecting

Every time I minimize OBS, making it a background task, the current (and only) source I have stops capturing. I have it set where the video pauses on the last captured frame, and when I switch windows the stream becomes static on that last frame. The only way for me to get the source streaming again is by double clicking on it and then selecting ok in the source menu.
