I'm not sure whether I understand your question correctly, but you can set the same hotkey for Show and Hide...

Setting it to the same hotkey will make it a toggle, but you will still need to press it once to show it, and once again to hide it.
You can use a piece of third-party software called AutoHotKey to set up a macro to press the button, wait the duration of the media, then press it again. But press-once toast functionality is not present in OBS at this time.
