Source 'Hide transitions' not working when grouped

I've created a scene with 4 sources (a coloured box, a graphic and 2 text sources). Each source has a Show transition and a Hide transition - and they all work independently. When I group the sources and show/hide the group, the Show transitions work, but the Hide animations do not work (the whole group goes invisible).

I'm using OBS 29.1.2. Wondering if anyone else is experiencing this issue or if anyone has a workaround to make the Hide transitions work on grouped sources.

Did you ever find a solution to this? I'm trying to set up a group of elements to fade away at different rates when the group visibility is toggled off. It's just as you described. When I toggle their visibility separately, the individual transitions work as configured. But when I toggle the whole group off, it instantly vanishes. I tried setting a long fade on the group itself, but rather than give the hide transitions for the constituent elements time to execute, it just canceled the individual transitions and replaced them all with the long fade. There must be some way to achieve the desired effect! If not, this was conspicuously overlooked by the developers!

There may also be something wrong with the fade speed settings. I set an animated GIF to fade in and out at the same rate of 4000 milliseconds. But visually, the fade-in seems to last twice as long as the fade-out. They are apparently not equal fade times even though I set them to be equal. I had to goose the numbers in order to get it to look right.
