Hello everyone.
Guys, please help me with this as I feel I'm going insane.
I used to record with the old version of OBS some time ago but for some personal reason I moved to XSplit.
All good and well but I want 1080p so I recently checked out OBS Studio.
I managed to find a thread here that showed me the settings I need for 1080p recording and I'm very very happy with the video quality.
Can't say the same thing about audio tho.
I get ALOT of tearing, or skipping, don't really know what to call it. Doesn't matter if I record in 1080 or 720, doesn't matter if I online record the desktop or if I'm recording a game.
And also doesn't matter if I record the audio on 2 channels or just one.
I get the tearing on both the audio that comes from the desktop or games as well as from the microphone.
I uploaded a very small example (really hope there isn't a problem in posting external links as the file is over the 1MB limit this forum has): CLICK HERE
Also, my specs, if it matters:
CPU: AMD FX-8350
RAM: 8GB Dual-Channel DDR3
Motherboard: ASRock 980DE3/U3S3
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB
Headphones: Panasonic RP-WF830T
Microphone: FIFINE K056
Also, a link to the last log: http://pastebin.com/yMYcmWd3
Thanks to everyone willing to help, I'm really desperate....
P.S.
I feel like I need to mention that I tried changing alot of settings, audio and video alike... without success, changed the quality, the renderer, everything.... what am I missing here?
