Hello guys,hope you can help me out with my sound setup. I would like to live stream video and audio but i am having issues setting up audio. I have an independent laptop for elgato, OBS programs and running an rca to 3/4 inch audio cable from my dj mixer (booth) into the mic/headphone jack. The independent laptop is a windows 10 operating system and I also updated the realtech drivers. Can you please advise on the best way to set up my line in or OBS audio when using a dj mixer (Numark Ns6)? Or do I need another cable to convert the signal into the laptop like the SC4 adapter. thank you guys and will greatly appreciate some insight. Thank you!

For both these issues if you see the audio device in Windows, Sound, Playback devices then you can use them in OBS. If you can't see it Windows OBS will never see it.
OP was trying to connect his/her mixer via the mic port on a soundcard, it would need to connect to line-in to work I think and as it's a laptop it may not support that.
