Sound setup using OBS and Vdo.Ninja

I have been using OBS on my Macbook Pro for quite sometime to stream my chess events through Youtube and Twitch.

My requirements usually are:
I invite some guest (2 or 3) commentators to the stream, so I use vdo.ninja Room for that.
2 players join to play the match and they join the same vdo.ninja room.
I join the same room as Director as well.
I keep the sound muted in the room and add all players and guests to the OBS scene using Browser soruce.
I add myself to the OBS scene using Mac Video capture device.
I also add a screen capture device to the scene to capture the ongoing chess match capturing a tab on chrome browser.
I deafen players during the match and they can't hear what commentators are saying.

Problems I face:
If a guest goes offline and comes back I can't listen to that person through the OBS, though other guests can listen to that person.
Very often I hear myself echoing, guests complaint about the same that they hear themselves too. (We always use headphones).

What is the best way to achieve such a sound setup?
I need a guide a proper one, where I can ensure multiple people can talk easily, clearly without echo or any other issues, also if someone goes offline and comes back he/she must be able to resume automatically.

Looking forward.
