Question / Help Sound records like it's underwater.

When recording my latest video everything sounded fine yet as I was playing it back for editing purposes (I'm a new YouTuber) I noticed everything sounded underwater this has never happened before. Any ideas I'm stumped.

Also, in Windows, Recording (and Playback) devices>Properties>Enhancements if any, try to disable them all.
