Sound quality poor when streaming to youtube

Hi there

I am streaming sound from a DJ controller to a youtube channel. The sound is poor (tinny with hardly any bass).

My friend is doing the same with the same software and hardware, the only difference being he is Mac and I'm PC. His stream sounds good and much more full, with plenty of bass.

We have checked settings and I have tried multiple things (including checking I had latest itunes installed for the encoder). I ran analysis on the current log and no critical errors showed. I'm not sure where to go with this next.

Here is my current log file, just in case anyone more knowledgeable than myself can see anything untoward?

Thanks in advance

idk if this have something todo with your "description"
but default on what you write

its sounds simple that the audio is to loud
idk how high or low the know about audio is, but it sounds like that
for quick check the OBS Meter (audio) have 2 indicators the full color lines and 2 small dots

the bars shows the "average" and the dots are the "Max"

the bars best not above 50% of the yellow area and the dots never above 90% of the yellow
music have mostly quick spike parts that not shown in OBS

make a private stream to YT with Private mode and VOD Active
then stream where you know the issue is,
repeat the track every time with different settings

Like 100%DJ Sound level
Then 20%, 50%, 80%
check if the Level is dropping to the values on the VOD if not then the soundcard do a normalize of the audio (source of the issue)
and if this not true and the volume drops and the issue is gone. then you know its a to high sound level

Thnaks for your detailed reply, I have checked all of this and tried as you suggest but no joy unfortunately.

The audio is within the yellow and not hitting red (either out of the DJ controller or in OBS) but still there is a distinct lack of bass. I have turned the bass up on the DJ controller and the difference is slight but still nowhere near where it should be.

Coming out of my stereo here it is fine, so it just seems its got something to do with the virtual output into OBS or OBS iteself which is producing the poor quality.
