Question / Help Sound problem

I'm having the same issue since upgrading to Studio (MP) 0.13. There is no sound coming from my capture source (Xbox One or Xbox 360) while streaming or recording. If I stream content from my PC, sound works fine. I had set all my Audio devices manually, but I set them back to default to test, and I still get no sound.

I tried uninstalling and re-installing. I tried downgrading back to 0.13.0 from 0.13.1, but the problem persists.

ADDENDUM: I forgot to mention I use a Hauppauge Colossus 2 as my capture device and I'm trying to record from an Xbox 360 and/or Xbox One using an HDMI cable.

UPDATE: I figured out why there was no sound - I was still using the R1 version of 0.13.1. After I uninstalled and installed it using the current version of 13.1, I was able to get sound back, but now it's all choppy.

Moved to its own thread as you have a different problem now.
You mean the recording is choppy? Please show us a log file!

Oh Good! I thought someone had deleted it from the other thread. LOL

I'm at work right now, but I'll attach the log file in my next post when I get home. What is the default location for the OBS log file?

.. And thanks for the reply!

Actually, I can link you a short example from my stream earlier today:

As you can see, the sound from my mic is fine, but the sound coming from the capture device is distorted and choppy.

Hi !
I think my issue is quite similar, as I didn't have sound after a few minutes using 0.13.0, and now sound is choppy too (sometimes it starts ok and a few minutes later it stops being ok)

I streamed 2 minutes to show an example, and below is the log file related to this video.

Hope this helps !
Note : I tried Sample rate 48000 in Audio settings (will probably use this in the future as I could understand the Hauppauge card sends at 48000 sample rate), but the issue is still present.
