Hi everyone.

Really need your help, I am having troubles with sound on OBS.

I want to switch from RE central 4 to OBS to record my game videos from PS4.

I connected everything but now facing a problem what my sound are glitching a little bit and delayed by 1-2 seconds. And I don’t know how to fixed it.

Because then I am using Re central 4 everything is ok with sound.

I am using PS4, avermedia 2 plus capture cards, USB headset connected to my PC.

I will really appreciate any help, thanks in advance.

I tend to have similar issues when I let OBS handle the capture card audio. I haven't found a fix, but I do have a workaround.
Normally I just go into "Sound", then "Recording Devices" and open the device for my capture card, then turn on the "Listen to this Device" option. At that point it plays the sound back over the Desktop device (and OBS captures it there) with very little latency and no audio dropouts.

This will only work if your capture device provides standard DirectShow drivers (meaning some Elgato devices cannot use this), but otherwise will at least be a usable workaround until the Video Capture Device handling is improved.

(To any Devs reading this, I also have an issue where the VCD Source will only init the sound card audio at 44.1KHz per the logs, but the device absolutely supports 48KHz, which everything else is on. Possible that it's related? Not enumerating correctly or something? Adding the source as a directshow audio input records correctly at 48KHz for multi-track recording, so it really looks like the VCD Source needs a closer look.)
