Sound output doubled

I have an elgato HD60x capture card with a chat link pro cable. I use Discord on my pc for chat most of the time, so I set up the capture card audio for monitor and output. Recently I started using the TikTok Live studio which kind of messes with OBS audio as it is always monitoring. Ever since then, my capture card audio is coming through my desktop audio as well, causing a doubling or echo effect. This happens even when I'm only running OBS. I try to set up my audio to split my separate outputs, but a lot of the options needed are greyed out. What do I do? This problem also causes any game chat coming into my stream to be muted as well, so I look crazy talking to no one.

Do you Monitor the capture card? Do you send the Monitor to the same device that your Desktop audio comes from? That'll do it.

The Desktop audio is literally EVERYTHING that goes to the selected device. Including OBS's own Monitor.
