Hello,

I want to integrate a media file (video) or browser page in a skype video call.
I use the virtual cam and it works except that my skype correspondent does not hear the sound of the video when I launch it. on the other hand he can hear me perfectly.
I use the microphone of my integrated web camera
Is there a solution ?
Thanks in advance, Pierre

You'll need to use other software to route the audio, OBS doesn't have this function. Skype doesn't hear that audio because it has only a single input audio device and it's probably your microphone.

There's no *simple* answer for this, but it is possible.

Download Virtual Audio Cable from here https://www.vb-audio.com/Cable/.
"VB-CABLE is a virtual audio device working as virtual audio cable. All audio signals coming in the CABLE input is transported to the CABLE output. Then It becomes simple to make computer audio recording or to connect a player application to a recorder one."

What virtual cam did you use? Any link to try it?

You can try to use Voice Meter Potao https://vb-audio.com/Voicemeeter/potato.htm
It gives you 5 hardware inputs plus 3 virtual inputs. I would set the audio output of the video to one of the virtual inputs in Voice meter, then set one of the hardware inputs to your microphone.

Finally set the voice meter general output to the Virtual cable you alreday downloded as suggseted by Herbron.

The skypy microphone input should be this virtual cable.
