Just a simple option or plugin that makes a short (hopefully not annoying) beep to signal that the video has started recording. Sometimes the hotkey button doesn't always start the recording for some reason and I also enjoy knowing that the recording has started without a doubt, which is why I think having an optional sound notification when beginning a recording would be beneficial for users of open broadcast software.
Ideally, the recording wouldn't include the beep in the recorded video if recording desktop audio, so the option to delay the actual recording by one or two seconds would be a nice bonus.
