My mic. definitely works, I just tested it out. Also, the audio input from the mic. and output from desktop are being picked up (green bar is registering). Video recording is just fine. The problem is, when I try to review recorded material, no audio whatsoever is present. I have tried turning up the volume to max, it didn't work. I thought maybe I need to try using different files, didn't work. Maybe open the recording with different software? Nope, "movie maker" and "movies and tv" didn't work. And the microphone was on the whole time. And I've tried closing out of the software and re-opening it.
It's my first time using this software/recording so I really don't know much about this stuff.
