I have been using OBS for four years now. All of a sudden I have no sound through OBS when I am recording on my laptop. There is no movement of the meters at all. There is an audio shown when I move it to my editing program but there is not actually any sound. I have checked all setting in OBS and on my laptop. Can someone please help?

Please post a log with your issue! Here's how...
OBS Studio creates a log file each time you run it which contains very useful diagnostic information. Without a log file, it's much harder for any support volunteers to figure out problems and your post may be ignored. To upload a log file, go to the Help menu > Log Files > Upload Last Log...
I am having the same problem on one laptop, but not on another identical laptop with the same version. Both are windows 10 OS, and 64 bit Dell 1440 laptops. I’m running version 27.2.4. I have reinstalled the program. And done everything else I can think of. Need help.
Angie, I have been facing the same issue. Yesterday, I went to Windows Systems menu and did a Restore back to an earlier Windows state. For me I had a restore point in April so I used that. It took a while to complete, but I tested OBS today and it is working like a champ. Maybe this would work for you.
