Question / Help Sound is quieter when streaming than the recorded video

I live stream on Twitch and record while I stream, so after I'm done streaming, I upload it to Youtube. The problem is that when I'm streaming on Twitch, I put the game audio and my microphone volume just perfect so when people watch me stream, they can hear the game and my commentaries. The problem is that when I'm done streaming and recording, I start editing the video, but the video's game volume is much louder, so you can barely hear my voice. The problem is that if I decrease the volume for the Youtube video, then when I stream, people can't hear the game volume. How do I fix this problem?

I recommend both of these things

Navigate to the "Volume Mixer" on your pc.
Click "Recording Devices"
Navigate to the desired microphone and right click it and click "Properties"
Navigate to the Levels "Tab" and Turn up the volume from there.

If all else fails, turn up the microphone volume on OBS (If this wasn't already done).

Let me know if your problem is not resolved.

Thanks, Driftay

Sorry I have no solution for you to fix. To prevent this problem happening again, I think you'd better prepare another recorder to help you record streaming video. The recorder, I know that Powerpoint, Quicktime, TuneFab Screen Recorder, etc can do this work well. You can give them a try.

Now here is the solution for you:

You should record the audio and video separately, then both audio and video will have best quality. When both recording are done, you an combine the video and audio into one file. I use the audio recorder and Camtasia create videos like a pro. For more tips, click here to check my website.
