Sound Inputs to OBS not in 2 track stereo, though USB device is a stereo device.

I do a definitive sound test to test stereo separation. (Super R Type SNES, music test 0F). When it hits a local FM transmitter, and I receive it, it comes in in obvious stereo.

However there are 4 USB Audio inputs, A microphone, a stereo capture card, a USB Video capture card and one other I can't locate. (They don't have obvious names)

The one that "moves the sound level bar with the music" is not shifting between left speaker and right speaker. And the one that has USB 3.0 input for my video has zero sound pumped through. The third moves the needle when I speak, so that's a minor mic. And I have no idea what the fourth input is.

Someone told me Apple is deliberately stamping out stereo inputs. Is this something done at the OS level and nothing can be done about it at OBS?

When I listen to that radio, it has that song in obvious separated stereo.

What could be the problem?
