*Using V 24.0.6 on a Mac*
Hi! I'm aiming to stream a live show with 2 people (my friend and myself), each joining via webcam from different locations and interacting with one another.
I'm not sure how to set my friend's webcam, which is coming to my computer via Zoom or FaceTime (etc), as a source in OBS. If I use screen capture, it seems that my only option is to select an entire program window. I don't want to show the whole program because then my webcam will be shown at the same time (and possibly other program elements like chat). Our webcams need to be separate, clean, non-overlapping sources.
I also need to be audio-only from time to time - so the audience can hear both of us but only see him.
Finally, I have sound effects that I play on the fly. I need to be able to choose when to play them while we're streaming live and play them in real time. I'm able to add the sound files as sources but don't see how I can play them live at will. (I think this should be more basic - maybe someone can point me in the direction of a good tutorial?)
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
