Hello,

I'm using OBS to record my screen but i want to record sounds
So I'm using a program called loopback. Loopback is a program that creates virtual audio devices which contain sound from multiple sources...like the app that i want to record the sound from.
Well...loopback creates the virtual audio device with the name i give it, then i open OBS and i create a new audio input device...then i select instead of my microphone the loopback device but OBS still records my microphone.

Your microphone is still selected as a source in OBS.

The loopback device is set to mute sources.

If what you mean is that the VU meter in the OBS Source window is showing activity on *both* devices when you use your mic, just quit OBS and re-launch it. Changes to OBS audio sources while the app is open often cause this problem.
