Recently got the Sony A7lll & the Black Magic Mini recorder working with Black Magic's Media Express application using the following camera settings:
Camera Settings:
1. Record settings set @ 60p
2. HDMI Resolution set @ 1080i 24p/60p output
Media Express settings:
Project video format @ 1080i/59.94
I had to power off and on the camera, and in one case reconnect the HDMI cable to the Mini recorder. But Media Express shows the camera's video.
Once I go into OBS added a new source, Black Magic Device, choose the Device: Ultra Studio recorder @ 1080i 59.94 I get no image. Power the camera on-off, reconnect the HDMI cable, nothing.
Any thoughts? I thought I would try the new Elgato 4K capture device here as it list the Sony A7lll as a compatible camera. At the moment it is not available to purchase.
