Recently I’ve been using OBS as a virtual camera to get the video feed into Teams. The issue is that sometimes the video may lag a couple of seconds behind the audio, but then after a moment, they’re back in sync again. It’s a really annoying problem, and I’m sure the audience can see it too.
I recall experiencing the same issue when streaming to YouTube, but I’m not entirely certain about this.
The video feed goes into OBS through an original Atem Mini. The microphones are connected to a mixer, which is then connected to the Atem. In Teams, I’ve selected either the Atem or Virtual Cable as the “microphone,” and the issue occurs with both. I’m using the latest version of OBS on a MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2019). I have also been recording while using the virtual camera.
Would anyone know how to keep the audio and video in sync? Thanks in advance.
