Sometimes Streamdeck just shows a yellow triangle when pressing OBS actions after going to OBS28

So everything is updated, and I've gotten the very few plugins I use working, scene switch and voice filters.
I start the OBS from a button, but sometimes, after doing that, the strem deck just shows a yellow triangle when I try to switch a scene or a filter.
It seems to not communicate somehow.
If I then shut down OBS and start it again, it works.

Any ideas what is going on here?

Am getting the exact same problem. Streamdeck is set up to start automatically when windows is started. First time OBS is launched the streamdeck is not communicating with OBS and the yellow triangle appears. Stopping and restarting OBS resolves the issue.

If I start OBS first, then manually start streamdeck it appears to work normally.

Also, this behavior seems to happen only when the pc is being initially powered on. If for some reason I have to do a restart of Windows the streamdeck and OBS communicate normally.

I've been having this issue with Streamdeck since the most recent (forced in the background) update. I'm still on 27.2.4, and regularly will have to reset the SD software for whatever reason.

I've attached two log files. One where the yellow triangle appears after launching OBS for the first time, and the second after restarting OBS and the streamdeck and OBS are communicating normally. Hoping someone can spot something I'm missing.

I already have the 5.3.3.15214 version of streamdeck installed. The streamDeckPlugin.dll version 5.3.2.10 is what 's loaded when I install the software. I've ininstalled and reinstalled the software with the same results. the streamDeckPlugin.dll file is dates 9/29/2022 so I'm pretty sure I have the right file.

I have the same problem - it just recently started happening after some point update from OBS. This appears to be a real bug.

I'm running Stream Deck 5.3.3 (15214) for macOS, and OBS 28.1.1 macOS

What fixes it is quitting Stream Deck, launching OBS, and then re-launching Stream Deck after that. Needless to say, no one wants to have to quit and relaunch stream deck every time we want to use it with OBS. I've tried reinstalling both, but to no avail.

Any ideas?
