Dear Community! I am new to OBS, but so far I've managed it quite well. I use OBS for live streaming of classical concerts and have a 1) USB Audio Interface which is connected to two piano mics and 2) a high-quality audio recording device with built-in microphones for speech recording - I use the headphones output of this device, which I connect to the standard 3.5mm audio input of my laptop.
This setup with 2 sources usually works well. In different scenes I switch between the 2 devices for speeking and playing.
But from time to time (not always) this 2) recording device sounds very very bad - like with very low bit rate or similar. It doesn't happen always, only sometimes, and this is so strange. Usually, if I plug in this device, Windows asks me, if it is headphones or microphone, I click microphone. So, I guess, it is somehow related to this microphone input from my laptop, but I am not sure. Any help is highly appreciated! Thanks!
