So I have been testing out different recording methods lately and I stumbled onto something interesting. Apparently since the 1803 Creators Update to W10 on the Game DVR page in the settings there is now an option so that the Game DVR will only record sound coming out of the game (or foreground exe). I don't know the code that they used to do this but I think it is very cool and could be implemented into OBS with the Game Capture feature where a track is added for Game Capture and only captures the Games audio.
You can try it your self but I would advise using an xbox 1 controller to do so, the overlay is a bit buggy with mouse and keyboard. (GTA seems to work the best for me.)
