I want to get a stream/recording pc with a capture card but I need to know a few things abou it.
Is there a settings under the capture card properties where I can make the sound run through desktop audio as well as go through into OBS? I need it to go through both sources. I want this because I plan to use voice meeter to route all my sounds, including the game sounds capture card into my headphones so I can have three separate audio tracks.
What is the quality of the sound through the capture card? Does it have the same quality as the original source?
Lastly for anyone that is actually willing to help on this forum and for anyone who has the means to test this, if you turn the properties on your capture card to play through the desktop audio (if this can be done) and you play it back through into OBS does the quality change at all? I want to make sure the audio isn't going to get delayed or distorted horribly if I was to change the destination of the audio from the capture card.
