I've recently updated to the new 4.0 build of OBS, and love it. It records excellently, but I haven't gotten to stream yet.
I keep trying to get it to record desktop audio, but. nothing. is. happening. It records the video, but no audio whatsoever. It records from the eternal microphone, but always has the nasty habit of picking up everything.
I've tried Soundflower (and been using it on previous Mac OS--OSX and Yosemite). However, with the crappy quality El Capitan is, it never works. I've tried countless tutorials, guides, installments/un-installments...and nothing works. I tried to 'stream' (with Picarto; with it's correct settings), but I was getting no audio on my stream.
Is there a fix to this? Another solution I'm not seeing?
