Question / Help [SOLVED] Unusual Needs for Recording

Hey everyone! Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

So here's what I need to be able to do and I'm not sure how to do it:

I am currently working on a Magic: The Gathering weekly stream for my local game and comic shop. From my conversations with folks online, it looks like people want commentary, even if it's kind of awful.

So we're setting up the commentary station in the office with the nice webcam set up outside at the "featured match" table. We're doing it this way so that the players don't get annoyed or distracted by the commentary that is three feet away.

I need to be able to hear the players through the webcam's microphone, but not output the audio through the Twitch Stream.
I want to be able to output the commentary only through the stream. Is there a way that I can do that?

Let me ask a different way. How can I listen or monitor the audio from the webcam in real-time while broadcasting microphone audio and webcam video only?

Once again, thanks for any help you can offer!

If you're not going to include your desktop audio in the stream, and the streaming system's desktop audio and the webcam's mic show up in the OBS Studio mixer, then the simplest solution would be to just mute the webcam mic and desktop audio in OBS Studio's mixer. That way the webcam audio would not be present in OBS Studio output (streaming and recording), but it should still be audible through your speakers/headphones.

If that doesn't work for you, then you may look into software that is capable of rerouting your audio devices, such as Voicemeeter or some kind of virtual audio cable software.

I just want to thank you for suggesting "VoiceMeeter" because it worked like a charm. It does exactly what I needed it to do, so thank you very much!
