Hey! When playing WoW and having OBS stream or record at the same time, my frames in game drop to a reasonable 30-40, but the OBS footage drops to something abysmal, likely around 5 or 6 FPS.

The recording's video slows dramatically, but the audio keeps along fine. Only the video stutters.

My log (also uploaded): https://hastebin.com/aqigeyuqep.http Raw text: https://hastebin.com/raw/aqigeyuqep
Video proof - I am hovering over the FPS in the lower left as proof of in game FPS - this isn't from pressing the 'Stream' button, but the same stuttering happen when Streaming as in Recording. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DNVaGfsoI-A&feature=youtu.be

Thanks!

Bump - this is not a server issue at all, because even recording generates the same problems. Both my game and OBS are set to use NVIDIA processor and prefer maximum performance for power.

Update: solved by running OBS in administrator! On average frames are MUCH smoother, matching in game performance. (In game performance has also increased slightly! Maybe running one application optimally helped the other.)

OBS in administrator! You can change the shortcut by right clicking the shortcut --> Properties --> under the (default) Shortcut tab --> Advanced --> check box 'Run as Administrator'
