Hi. Im trying to record on multiple tracks (2). 1 for my Blue Yeti(Mic) and 2 for Desktop audio.
Im recording to KMV, and remuxing to MP4 since Lightworks supports mp4. Ive tried listening on Lightworks and VLC for both tracks but i can only hear one of them. Or rather i can hear both, but only one normal loud and one super mega ultra extreme low sound. In Lightworks i can only see multiple tracks with the SAME audio.
So for example i can hear my Mic audio fine, but not my desktop audio. I dont understand what ive done wrong, and ive been looking all over for fixes but i cant find them.

I Included 2 different logs for 2 different OBS launches with the same issue. Theire only about 10 mins apart.

Any help is appreciated:)

You've done nothing wrong. You're writing your mic to track 1 and desktop audio to track 2, and you're writing both tracks to your video file.

Keep in mind that multiple audio tracks will not be mixed by any video player playback. You have to choose one of them and you will be able to listen to only one track at a time. If you listen to your mic track and hear desktop audio with extremely low sound from that track, you probably hear feedback from the sound of your speakers/headphones recorded by your mic.

If you want to mix and listen to both tracks, you have to mix them with an audio processing software and write the mixed track to the video file instead of 2 separate tracks. As far as I know, Lightworks is also able to mix audio.

I had this gripe with Premiere. I can record my mic, game and discord call all separately, so why not? I can fix any bad errors in post later, giving me a failsafe. But, Premiere, my editor, as well as Vegas and the like, all only import the primary audio track, effectively leaving me with a recording missing sound.

It's a feature I wish I could use, but never will, until an editor supports dual tracks. Sucks, but what can you do!

I can see 2 tracks in lightworks (actually 4 "tracks" but its really only 2), and theyre all the same audio. I read somewhere that Lightworks supports OBS's dual track thing but i cant get it working. Is it easier to record audio with Audacity and just video with obs?

SOLUTION:
I finally managed to record to mkv, then remuxing to mp4 (easier to use for me).
I then use audacity to open the mkv file. Then i finally get the 2 tracks. I export each track for itself(so i can mix it in Lightworks, its just easier)
Finally i import all 3 files to Lightworks. Then i Remove the audio from the mp4 file and insert the mix/desktop tracks.
Voila.
I found this out by wasting 3 hours just messing with obs&audacity.....

What do you mean with "wasting"? That's how things work. The time invested depends on the postprocessing software you use. I have Premiere Elements, and with this you have audio tracks just like video tracks, are importing each audio track from raw footage, and able to mix within Premiere Elements. Very easy. If Lightworks doesn't support mixing and compositing audio tracks, you have to resort to external audio postprocessing.
