SOLUTION:
The OBS-ASIO Plugins 3.0.0 are based on the bassasio.dll that's old/obsolete//buggy. AVOID it!
This was suggested to me by the programmer.
Use instead the 2.0.3 based on JUCE library. The 2.0 is NOT down-date. It's just different compiled stuff.
on top of that, it seems OBS "loves" to create issues with the APIs. I hope they will improve its reliability

Here the 2.0.3 JUCE based: https://github.com/Andersama/obs-asio/releases/tag/2.0.3
Our conversation (me and the programmer Andersama): https://github.com/Andersama/obs-asio/issues/77

Original message
OBS 26.1.1
W7
ASIO plugin installed.

When trying to create 2 or more channels selecting "ASIO Input", OBS freezes - not responding - (hence: not any LOG available. So: don'st start to ask what I can't give due the OBS fault).
And then I have only a solution. To hard close the program.

The general issue is that's totally not-constant. 9 times on 10 it fails. Not clue about the causes.
Still that OBS creates to me several issues with Audio Drivers.

I also changed 3 audio interfaces, removing each time the related drivers etc. But result is the same.
Here the "beauty" :-/
This occurs AFTER have selected ANY driver into the field "Device"
