Question / Help [Solved] Hotkeys to mute/unmute built-in Mac microphone not working

Hello ! I am setting up OBS and I managed to capture desktop audio (with iShowU), then I created Hotkeys to start and stop recording, which is working fine. But any hotkeys I set up to mute and unmute the built-in microphone are not working, the audio from the mic keeps being recorded.

Can you help me find out what's wrong ? I attached screenshots showing how I set up OBS to record audio, and the hotkeys I chose (same issue with different keys). It's in French but it should be pretty self-explanatory.

I use a MBP 2018 with macOS 10.14.4.

You're putting the hotkeys in the wrong place, I think. You've got them in the segment that mutes or unmutes an audio source-- you need it below there, in the section that says "push to mute".

Thanks for your answer Narcogen, I solved it this morning by deleting built-in mic as Mic/Aux source #1 in the Audio Settings, since it appears that I already had « Audio capture » in Scene setup as mic input. I moved IShowU as mic/aux 1 in Audio settings and Hotkeys for mic in « audio capture input », it is now working perfectly well !
