Question / Help (Solved) Flickering with AverMedia Live Gamer Extreme

We are having a problem with the AverMedia Live Gamer Extreme (GC550) capture card. We previously used an Elgato HD60 and that had no flickering problems. The flicker does not happen while recording from the AverMedia software or if we use xsplit, just from OBS (our preferred streaming program).

It's for a creative stream so the capture card is actually capturing from an HD camcorder.

We found other forum posts said that they experienced problems with Webcams in OBS working with the AverMedia cards so we disconnected the webcam entirely and the capture card still flickers in OBS.

We have tried to adjust just about every setting related to video in both OBS and the AverMedia software. We have tried both 60fps and 30fps, and we have tried both at 1080p and 720p.

Any ideas on what other settings could help fix this? We have narrowed it down to being something with OBS that is causing the flicker with several hours of troubleshooting.

Here is the OBS log from the last test broadcast we tried:

Thanks for the assistance.

[SOLUTION FOUND]

We appear to have solve the problem. It looks like the Logitech webcam was causing the problems. Even though we removed the camera and deactivated them in OBS there was still flickering.

I then removed all of the webcam sources from OBS entirely. Once they were removed, the flickering stopped. I re-added the webcam source and left it at default settings and the flickering did not reappear.
