Question / Help [SOLVED] BUG random grey screen

Hi everybody !
I use OBS for 1 month, in the output setting i wanted to use "easy mode" with "high quality" for recording but my CPU isn't enough strong. (I5-4670K) especially on BF1. So i use the same setting of my stream. 5000 bitrate with QSV but when i record a game (the game lauch in 1600x1200 i can't change this, my screen 1920x1080 and i record in 1280x720) QSV have some problem, like grey screen ! x264 take a lot of my CPU ressources so i have to record in ultrafast (without great quality...)

Why i have this problem with QSV ? It's hard too find good setting on OBS, can you help me please ? I prefere record in QuickSync with medium quality (mkv then mp4) than x264 with bad quality, but there is a bug with QSV... My drivers are all updated.

Try simple output mode, high quality, Hardware Quicksync (QSV) encoder instead.

And post your OBS log.

Finally i reinstall OBS, QuickSync don't record well. I choose to record in 720p 30 fps nvenc, high quality and all work pretty well ! Thanks !

When i will have my I7 i think i will recorde in x264.

But QuickSync still do like error of encoding with grey screen!

Try to remux the encoded video to mp4 (main menu File>Remux Recordings).
