Hello! I have a weird problem on one of my machines. Whenever I browse my file structure--let's say when I'm searching for an image to use as an image source--my entire computer lags and everything becomes choppy. OBS Studio is the only program on this machine that causes this behavior. The weird part is, I have OBS Studio with identical settings on an older machine and this problem does not occur.
This occurs with any sort of file browsing, including searching for a font to use in text sources. It causes my stream, game, and literally anything else I'm running, to become choppy. Weirder still is my CPU usage only jumps from ~5% to ~20%. This occurs even when OBS Studio is the only thing I have running.
The lag does not cause anything to crash, however, so there is no log file. The lag ceases, that is everything returns to normal, as soon as I close the properties window for whatever source I was messing with.
Regular browsing, that is through Windows Explorer, is fine. I can also browse fine through, say, Photoshop.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open OBS Studio 32 (or 64!)
2. Create a blank scene
3. Add an image source to the scene
4. Double-click that image source to open its properties
5. Lag begins here, but is not terrible
6. Click on "browse" to find an image file
7. File browser window opens, lag ensues
8. Close this window
9. Close the properties window
10. Everything back to normal
I'm running Windows 10, and 32 bit OBS Studio version 0.15.4. Attached is my DxDiag so you can see what kind of hardware I'm running.
Any ideas?
